SC Valiant Honor "Honor"
Honor was born and raised here, handled since birth. He had 30 days put into him at 3 years old with thorough desensitization and groundwork. Was lightly started under saddle and then we decided to use him in our breeding program. Honor was gelded early Summer of 2023, since then he has not remained study or showed any stallion behavior and has been ridden, tied next to, and hauled along with mares without any issues. Honor has always been easy to handle, quiet, and a well-mannered boy. Honor is very intelligent, a character, he likes attention but is respectful about it, bonds easily, and is very pretty! He has English gaits and sure is a fancy pants. He responds really well to natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement, and liberty training.
Excuse his mane in some of the videos, it needed time to grow from playtime in the pasture with his buddies.
We will be getting updated photos and videos of him this Summer. If you feel you need more than what we currently have, you'll have to come see him in person instead.
Honor has currently had 4 months of full professional training. He has been started out on the trails, is at a W/T/C, and at this point is just needing miles and some work on his canter which is planned in the next couple months of his training if not sold by then. He rides out alone, anywhere I point him, and seems to love/enjoy every minute of it. Honor has the drive, intelligence, and looks! He has potential for a youth mount, family horse, endurance/competitive trail prospect, dressage prospect, jumping prospect, you name it! Honor is one of those horses that are just happy to be involved. Nothing seems to bother him, get him overly excited, or reactive. He has a gentle, patient, and tolerant attitude.
We are currently taking priority over a competitive/show home at this time.
