SC Belle Rhapsody "Rhapsody" 
Rhapsody was born and raised here, handled since birth. Has had 12 months total training (A full 6 months in 2021 and 2 months each year after in the early Spring) since being started at 3 years old with thorough desensitization and groundwork. Rhapsody is not cut out for our breeding program due to her size which is our reason for rehoming her. She has been used as a main riding partner for one of our students from 2023 up until this year 2024. He is now interested in a taller horse, she isn't able to be ridden by many here size wise, and it is time she finds her own person! Rhapsody has been ridden down to Zumbro Bottoms, she has been trail ridden almost every weekend since 2023. She will lead, be in the middle, or follow. Is respectful of other horses on the trail, will ride off away from the trail horses or stay with them nicely. Is traffic safe, not much scares her at all and she will actually walk up to and into something most horses would be scared of.

We will be getting updated photos and videos of him this Summer. If you feel you need more than what we currently have, you'll have to come see him in person instead.
Rhapsody has a very solid mindset, she is beautiful with a full long mane and tail! She has potential for a youth mount, family horse, endurance/competitive trail prospect, dressage prospect, jumping prospect, you name it! Rhapsody loves to be worked with and seems to enjoy the trail life. She is not an overly reactive horse and she has not bucked, reared, kicked or bit since being started under saddle. She is gentle, patient, willing, calm, sensible. 
We are currently taking priority over a competitive/show home at this time as we would prefer to be able to watch her reach her full potential. One of her half-sisters SC Izzabella is currently competing in Endurance through MNDRA! And her other half-sister SC Rhaptures Mistress is competing in Endurance in Utah as a youth mount!

Her dam has been a youth mount for years as well as provided lessons to kids.

  • UTD on vaccinations & worming.​
  • Stands patiently, for hours, anywhere.
  • Good for fly masks, blanketing, and being stalled.
  • Good ground manners. 
  • Takes on the boss mare attitude but primarily keeps to herself. She does not tolerate being picked on.​
  • Naturally confident, not spooky, willing to attempt what is asked easily.
  • NOT a sensitive horse, she is pretty hardy mentally and physically. 
  • Thinks things through, is highly intelligent, and picks up on things right away. She likes to "boop" new objects/items.
  • Forward, but not hot. Does mosey around if allowed to.
  • Youth, family horse potential, would make a fantastic kid's horse down the road. 
  • Wants to be worked with, enjoys being ridden and taken out on trails, personable, sweet, gentle, respectful, looks forward to seeing you, not reactive, not sensitive, not pushy, seems to want to take care of her rider, trusts easily, isn't hard to bond with, prefers people over horses. ​
  • Clean slate
  • Has thorough desensitization and groundwork.
  • 12 full months of professional training under saddle. 
  • Good for the farrier.
  • Loads & hauls in the trailer well and has hauled for us A LOT. Although she does not like being put where she may be squished (being she's smaller, she lets you know if she's uncomfortable being tied by a certain horse - We don't have dividers in our trailers so that would be a simple solution to this problem).
  • Natural horsemanship, positive reinforcement, & liberty training.
  • At a W/T/C.
  • Lunges, has been trained with vocal commands.​
  • Is leading, following, and been in the middle on trails.
  • Has been ridden at Zumbro Bottoms.
  • Rides out alone.
  • Isn't buddy sour/barn sour.
  • No vices, bad habits.
  • Steps up onto objects & obstacles.
  • Goes through mud, water, creeks.

  • Has some exposure to dogs, cats, donkeys, mules, cows, goats, deer, turkey, rabbits, farm machinery, gunshots, fire, crossing bridges, & atv's.
