Training On Premises
- Monthly Training Fee: $1250 which includes board.
- Up to 2 free lessons per week, that fit into my schedule at the time, are given throughout their whole time in training. I highly encourage taking lessons. This would usually cost $400/month. What a great way to save money and learn what your horse is learning!
- Horses must be at least 3 years old. I will train according to their mental and physical wellbeing. If they're not sound mentally or physically mature enough to progress, they will be sent home.
- Any horse that exhibits nasty, aggressive, or dangerous behavior that cannot be fixed in a timely manner will be sent home immediately and it will be required that the horse gets a full vet examination before re-entering my training program again in the future.
- Please share as much information, background, and any bad habits/behaviors your horse may show before sending them into training with me. Being completely candid about your horse and its behavior is an absolute must and if it's obvious they have severe behaviors that couldn't have just magically appeared, I will send your horse home. I love training horses and understand it's a risky job, but some horses can't be fixed just by sending them to a trainer and I'm certainly not the trainer to do this to. Some horses have underlying health issues, physical limitations, and psychological issues that need tending to first and I put every horse's wellbeing first.
- Any training videos/photos I take of horses while in training, are able to be used by the horse's owner free of charge.
Board
- Each horse gets their own 12x12 stall, bedded, & routinely cleaned.
- Turn out daily for a few hours at a time, in a dry lot, with NO other horses, unless multiple horses from the same owner are okay with a combined turnout.
- 24/7 access of quality hay, grain is also provided unless requested for it to not be. If your horse needs a special diet, supplement, etc. it is up to you to provide it and for the whole length of their training duration with proper written instructions. I will not furnish special feed, and I will not purchase special feed for each owner.
- If you would like to furnish your own feed for their duration of their training, you're more than welcome to get the feed charge taken off of the board fee.
