HMU If Youcan Dreamit "Dream" is a 2007 Purebred Grey Arabian Mare. She was not born here but raised here since she was a foal, handled since birth. Dream is built nicely. She has mainly been a broodmare, having three foals for us. She has also been ridden on and off throughout the years increasingly so the last 4-5. Dream needs an intermediate rider. She would do best in a home where she is consistently being ridden/worked with as she can become buddy sour. I personally think she would really benefit having her own person to dote on her. Someone looking for a trail riding or all around companion. I don't think she would enjoy gaming. Endurance maybe, if someone didn't mind her age.

Personality: Dream is easy going, very sweet, and loves attention. Easy to work with and willing to learn new things. She is one of the lead mares in the pasture but isn't overly bossy. She gets along with everyone in our herd. One of the first ones at the gate and nickers to you. She is always walking up to you in the pasture and following you around. Very respectful of space and tends to be more on the sensitive side. She would NOT do well in a home where she is "cowboyed around". Dream can be pretty fancy out in the pasture and loves to get the herd going. She isn't hot and she isn't too mellow. She's right in-between. Has the energy if you want her to have it but also doesn't mind mosing around.

Training: Dream will be having a tune up starting June 1st.
She was started under saddle when she was around 6 years old, ridden on and off in the pasture and barn. Has been climbed on and ridden bareback in the pasture before even being started under saddle. She had 4 months of training put into her summer of 2017 and has been ridden around the property and on a few trails rides since. She has given lessons to several younger, experienced riders. I would not worry about anyone riding her with supervision of someone experienced but being she can get buddy sour if left to sit and not ridden consistently, I wouldn't advice her becoming a kids horse. The worst she has done is back up when you want her to go forward and turn quickly to get out of the directions you're giving her but with that being said, she needs a confident rider to send her forward and not allow that behavior to continue. Will try to get her out and about and on more trail rides before June 1st if I have the time as she needs to get in shape after this last foal of hers. If not she will be worked and trail ridden until sold when June 1st comes. Dream also has very comfortable gaits, you barely move when she trots. Dream has been ridden by several riders throughout the year as well.
  • Has had no health issues & is sound.
  • Halter broke, ties, and lunges
  • Picks up her feet
  • Loads in trailer
  • Started under saddle around 6 years of age, ridden on and off since. Had 4 more months of training put into her Summer of 2017 and has been ridden on and off for years.
  • Has been trail ridden a handful of times
  • Handles traffic well
  • Has had thorough desensitization and groundwork (On foot or being ridden)
  • Goes through mud/water (On foot or being ridden)
  • Goes up, over, and under objects, desensitization tools.
  • Stands nicely for saddling up, mounting, and dismounting.
  • She will take a bit with persistence but she does NOT like bits and never has (She has been worked with on this and is fine if she is consistently worked with but if not it goes right back to square one). She does wonderful with a bitless bridle, halter, or knot halter.
  • Has been ridden bareback, ridden bareback with no tack on, can swing up from the ground onto her. Can be climbed on all over.
  • Has been ponied from on horseback and an atv.
  • Has had a fly mask on and is okay with it. She does get a sunburnt nose and usually needs to have one on with a nose flap if there is not adequate shade. (Will send hers with her).
